The threads of all bolt sets are greased with an anticorrosive grease (type“Shell“).
The threads of the bolts extend up to the head. The bolt sets are suitable for:
- current-carrying bolted connections between compression jumper terminals,
- fixing of earth wire fittings to the tower,
- all types of current carrying bolted connections on flat busbars and flat terminations for electrical equipment according to DIN 46 206, part 3 in substations.

The bolt sets are used as supplementary parts for insulator protective fittings resp. for insulator string accessories provided for carrying protective fittings without bolt sets. Attention! Using stainless steel bolt sets for attachment of insulator protective fittings is not permitted. Due to the high specific resistance of this material, strong heatings
and weldings of the protective fitting attachment will caused in case of earth short circuit (arc between the protective fittings).
