Helical rods: Aluminium alloy
Additional information
Insulator ties JA...L are used to fix AAC, AAAC and ACSR conductors to post insulator type ""Längsbund"". For post insulators of neck type they are -after clearifications with RIBE- suitable in special cases.
The rods are supplied in three rods bundles consisting of several rods glued together. The rod bundles are colour-coded to facilitate assembly.
Helical rods: copper alloy

Insulator ties JB...L are used to fix copper and copper alloy conductors (bronze) to post insulator type ""Längsbund"". For post insulators of neck type they are -after clearifications with RIBE- suitable in special cases.
The rods are supplied in three rods bundles consisting of several rods glued together. The rod bundles are colour-coded to facilitate assembly.
Helical rods: Aluminium alloy
Additional informationInsulator ties JA...M are used to attach AAC, AAAC and ACSR conductors to post insulators type "centre waistband" resp. "diagonal waistband". The rods are supplied in two rod bundles consisting of several rods glued together. The centre of the rod bundles is marked in colour. There are also further markings to the left and right of this centre marking to make assembly easier.
Helical rods: Aluminium-clad steel
Additional information
Side ties type JW...H are used to attache AAC, AAAC and ACSR conductors to the neck groove of medium voltage post insulators (vertical or horizontal position).
The side ties are supplied as a preformed rod bundle consisting of several rods glued together.
The bundle is sanded in the area of the straight legs. The dimensions of the side ties are matched to the neck diameter of the insulator and the rope to be attached.
They must not be used for insulator/rope combinations other than those specified on the identification label.
Additional coils of individual rods are not permitted for this type of fastening!
Maximum permissible change of direction in the horizontal level: 20° on the vertically fastened insulator, 15° on the horizontally fastened insulator.
Maximum permissible change of direction in the vertical level: 20° on the vertically fastened insulator, 15° on the horizontally fastened insulator.
Helical rods: stainless steel

Additional information
The rod set restores the mechanical and electrical strength of the damaged cable.
The cable may be damaged until all the aluminium wires break.
The combination of VA...s- and JA...Ls-rods is suitable for reinforcing damaged AAC, AAAC and ACSR conductors at post insulators type StV 10, StV 20 and StV 30 of TGL-standard 200-6040. The allowed grade of damage is up to breakage of all al-wires of conductor.
