The earth tension rope is tensioned on the top of the mast with these earth wire tension support, whereby the two ends of the ropes are connected with the connecting clamp located on the earth wire tension support. At the same time, the earth connection of the rope to the mast is made through this connecting clamp. These earth wire tension supporters are intended in conjunction with tension clamps for tension Al/St earth ropes and steel earth ropes to the tension mast.
Earth cables protect the conductor rope of an overhead line:
- from direct lightning strikes and
- they participate in the return of fault currents to earth.
Steel and Al/St ropes are used as earth rops, which, in the case of one earth rope, are installed on the top of the mast or in the case of several earth cables, on trusses. The attachment to the mast can take place insulated, with detachable bridging earthing strap for measuring the earth contact resistance (see catalogue sheet B135/11) or non-insulated.
For the fastening of the required earth wire fittings to the mast by screw connections, the connection dimensions 90x90mm have been introduced in Germany.
In addition, special mast constructions are used for earth wire tension, which allow the use of tension joints.
support: steel, hot-dip galvanized
joint/bolt: steel, hot-dip galvanized
splint pin: copper cotter pin
Screw, DIN 933: grade 8.8 / hot-dip galvanized
Nut, DIN 934: grade 10 / hot-dip galvanized
Washers: 200 HV / hot-dip galvanized
These earth wire tension supporters are designed in conjunction with tension clamps for tension Al/St earth ropes and steel earth ropes at the top of the mast.
Advantages
This trestle can be combined with the reduced current clamp B832001. This allows conductor cables of ΓΈ8.00 - 22.50mm to be guided. The joints enables angular compensation of the conducting cable.
The hinge allow the angle of the line to be equalised.
